Can I Reorganize the Order of Books on the Bookshelf?
At this time, all the books on a student's Bookshelf are listed from lowest level to highest level, and that order cannot be manipulated by the teacher. If you are looking to highlight specific books or encourage students to select books at at certain level, there are a couple of workarounds:
- Assess what books have been placed on the student's Bookshelf: The books on the Bookshelf are meant for independent reading, so generally we suggest that the levels are set to reflect that. We recommend a student have access to only one or two levels below their instructional level. By setting these parameters, you can guide your student toward reading books that will support their reading progress.
- Utilize the Book Bag: If you have specific books that you would like your student to read first, you can always add those titles to the student's Book Bag and then direct them to read from their Book Bag once they're finished with any assigned books.
