Every teacher who has a digital classroom with a grade-level set assigned to it has automatically had the Book Closet collection added to their subscription. This collection is comprised completely of titles that are not included in any of the grade-level sets. The Book Closet is intended to expand the books available to the teacher and their students for independent reading, shared reading, or guided reading; at this time, we do not have planned lesson plans to accompany the collection.
We have provided blank lesson plans for you to use to plan both guided reading and shared reading lessons. We've also given you some support documents in the Downloadable Resources menu.
To find the blank lesson plans:
1. From your dashboard, click on Bookshelf.
2. Click on Literacy Footprints.
3. Use the drop-down menu under Filter by Book Set to select Book Closet (A-Z).
4. Click into the book you want to teach, and then click on the Lesson Plan icon on the left rail to find the blank lesson plan.

To find the downloadable teaching resources:
1. Click into the book you want to teach, and then click on the Downloadable Resources icon on the left rail. This will bring up the Downloadable Resources menu.
